What you'll do

A small folder of Python programs on your own machine, written by Claude Code, that take an ordinary video clip of anything that spins, turn one high-contrast mark passing a small patch of the frame into a brightness signal, and report the speed in revolutions per minute together with an honest uncertainty — plus a dated camera.json recording your camera's real capture rate in each of its modes, which you measured yourself against a rotating target of known speed rather than trusting the number written in the file. You will also own the test that tells you when the answer is aliased and therefore confidently wrong.
